My daughter-in-law has taken to growing house plants as one of her hobbies. She was given the spider plant about four months ago and she has been diligently replanting the babies. We now have nine spider plants. We also have three peace lilies., A lemon tree, coleus, and a Christmas cactus.
My intention is that as we move towards the winter, I am going to try some indoor herb and lettuce gardening to add to our indoor forest. So I bought some stands from Amazon to organize our collection.

Sevy would help me out by taking little breaks from the Mickey Mouse Club to come and use the little rubber mallet on the stakes.

When Joe got home from his Gideons prayer meeting, he helped me to finish up and get the plants positioned. I think it looks pretty good.
Although I’ve yet to comment on your earlier notes, I have been reading these and keeping in mind all that you, your family, your church are experiencing – certainly a lot of changes, challenges, emotional ups and downs – with your lives, your landscapes., your/our communities. I do appreciate your reflections and sharing on what is being built/rebuilt and new patterns of life and living emerging – not always easy, but certainly an affirming choice. Thinking of you – and all that you are sharing. Thank you

I so appreciate the comment Jane. The transition has been larger than I anticipated. Watching other famileris walk through the transition of life and death is not the same as walking it yourself. I was at a much different stage of life when my father died. I was young and had not really defined myself for the first time. With the passing of my mother it feels like I am back at square one in defining who I am to become. It has been a disconcerting journey.
